Asking the Right Question

Happy Tuesday, One of my favorite techniques I teach clients is to learn to ask themself the right question.

The right question at the right time can be eye-opening and can change your whole perspective.

When we can change our perspective, we can improve the experience we are having.

So here are some questions to ask yourself if you are in a changing situation.

What am I thinking?

Becoming aware is key to challenging your current perspective.

Why am I choosing this thought?

Many times our thoughts are unconscious, running in the background of our minds, like spyware a computer. If we don't question them, they can cause unnecessary problems.

Is this really a problem? Why is this a problem?

We often recycle old thoughts passed down from our parents. Just like clothes, thoughts can become outdated and not serve us.

How do I want to feel?

This question reminds you that you are in charge of your feelings.

How can I make this more fun?

Brings an element of playfulness to the circumstance?

How can everybody win in the situation?

This allows your brain to think of others instead of just yourself.

How do I want to show up in this up in this situation?

How we behave is always a choice.

Asking yourself the right question brings clarity and makes it easier to make better decisions.

P.S. If you want additional help, I am here for you.
